Electro-Acoustic Sound Systems Design
Acoustic balance and acoustic quality in a closed volume in need of a sound reinforcement system can only be achieved by correctly constructing and applying the acoustic qualities of the volume and the quality of the sound reinforcement system to be used and their integration with each other. Even if the highest level and most expensive speaker systems are used, if it is used in a volume with a bad acoustic environment, the result will be disappointing. However, the type, placement and number of speakers used define the required power level in the volume to increase the targeted sound pressure level (SPL) and intelligibility factor (STI). The amplifier power required to drive the speaker load is formulated from this speaker data. For this reason, choosing the right speaker system for the project is also very important in this respect, because the wrong ion at the design stage may cause performance losses in the design scheme of the system components.
As MEA Acoustic Consulting, we provide the following services in the context of electro-acoustic design in both indoor and outdoor environments:
• Audio (Speaker systems) design, types, layout plans, block diagram projects, wiring projects, ed speakers and their placement in the hall, coverage angles, SPL levels, entering the 3D acoustic simulation model and presenting the results as a report.
• Presentation of device-to-device signal and network wiring diagrams.
• Determination of UPS and mains power requirement in agreement with the electrical project group.
• Preparing and presenting technical specifications and discovery files for all systems, devices and equipment.
• After the application, fine tuning acoustic measurements are made and the integration of the sound reinforcement system with the acoustic environment of the volume is completed.
